problem

1)first thing i always try is a new battery usually with an old/used battery it fire's slower! but still worth a try
2) try resetting fire modes using the dip switch on the circuit board(its all the manual or pdf)
3) not had to do this my self but take trigger apart maybe some dirt on the micro switch and maybe a little clean and reposition may do the trick
4) start praying:) sounds like total strip down and lots of experimentation:eek:

oh... silly me i forgot to say i have changed batteries and stripped and re-lubed the bolt.
finally i went and re did all the board settings :)

still the bolt goes mental.. its as though the bolt does not re **** far enough to let the poppet hold it down.

you cannot dry fire the slg with a fluffy as it requires the bolt to move fully, however it has done this with paint in also.

micro-switch for trigger

i've not had any problems with the trigger on my sons slg but the switch has to pug into the board at some point i would try unplugging the switch and see what happens? if it stops firing i would assume the micro switch is sticking, then try plugging back onto board could be loose connection
if the marker keeps firing cycling when the micro switch trigger is unplugged its got to be the board because it controls the solenoid at least im sure it works that way (at least in my own little world )

I'm gonna guess that the sear isn't catching and that it has nothing to do with the trigger, so start looking there.

One of two things could be causing this.

1. Overgreasing the bolt and it has got on the sear. Open it up and clean the sear. Also try removing some of the grease and then recleaning the sear.
2. They seem prone to do this when the input pressure is set to low on the inline reg. Try upping this (obviously ensuring your still chroning legal) and see if this stops the issue.

Ok guys here is the update,
both me and a team mate had the same problem, turns out there were 2 solutions, he hadnt re lubed his bolt ever... which meant lube was the answer for his.

however mine, as helpfully pointed out by you guys, the fix was to take the frame off and remove the sear so that i could take the lube off the clip end :)
as far as i am aware all is good now, so the lesson was to ensure 0rings are properly lubed but make sure the bolt stays clean and no lube gets on the sear.

THANKS GUYS
