"A jargon-free zone for beginners. If you're new to the sport, then this is the place to learn more..."

I suggest, given the replys in recent threads by members of this forum that the subheading for this section should maybe read:

"A place for inexperienced players to ask questions and be panned by the other forum members before being branded as lacking in IQ"

After all, everybody here knew everything there was to know about their first gun, hopper, high pressure air system and paintball in general the moment they first saw a paintball gun.

Fair comments guys, I get a little frustrated at some of what I see as misuse of forums by some of the members around here.

I see no reason why obvious newbies should be slammed and branded as idiots for asking what others see as basic questions, I think we know which thread started this and Dskize has dealt with the matter very well.

The following also irk me:

Sponsors forums - Legitimate traders sponsor the forum by buying banner space, their forums are for contacting them, however, often all and sundry seem to think they can reply, sometimes even recommending the OP to go to another supplier.

Talk to the Mods - obviously a section for communicating with the Mods, again though, all and sundry think they can reply.

That will do for the moment, I'm not suggesting there is anything wrong with the forums, or moderators, after all, they cannot be omnipresent, however much they try, just some of the users around here. But then, as I often tell myself, common sense aint common!
