Where have I tried to be funny? Maybe I misunderstood what you said but at no point what so ever was I trying to be funny. I just stated my view in one post and then got into a discussion with another member of the forum. I jacked in with my views because it is the speak your brains section of the forum. I dont believe that I deserved the personal attack from what I have written in this thread just because someone does not agree with my view. If I have written too much in this thread where the discussion started then a message saying this would have sufficed. As to me being 'holier than thou', I am not. I do though have much more knowledge in this area than many people but I also have much less knowledge in this area than many other people.
If you don't realise that I was joking you have no place on this forum.
You are perfectly entitled to speak your brains as per the forum rules, however thread jacking is not the same thing, not to mention poor forum etiquette.
Feel free to start all the threads you like on the sudan, or the palestinian plight between the hours of 6pm friday evening, and monday morning. I said you are coming across as holier than thou, not that you were, however I retract that and replace it with you are coming across as a bit of a knob.
Agree Missy, Thriller is still awesome today and always reminds of sneaking downstairs with my brothers to watch it's first play on TV (in the UK it was first shown at Midnight - i was in my early teens!) - A break through for modern day music videos
