I have for sale my trusty "Shouty" She is a beauty, (Well in my eyes anyway) She's an X7, dressed, and turned. Had this marker now for about 2 years now, she has been through 2 big games (For the South, This year she tasted victory Hurrah) And a hand full of walk-ons. At the big games it’s fired about 6000 shots a day (No breaks this year), at the walk-ons, about 2000 each day. So it’s broken in really. After each game it was taken to bits and cleaned, lubed, & re-built
She has tried many barrels, (Flatline, 21" sniper, smart parts freak, smart parts all American, Non of which are included) I have found this Dye ultralite to work best, (personal preference) Plus on a aesthetical not, only sticks out the front of the shroud by 1inch or so.
The extended front shroud is a custom job, made by slicing the front off of one standard shroud, and the rear off another standard shroud, and glue them together (I used a professional high speed TCT saw, for a perfect 90deg clean cut, not some hack job) The tactical pinicati rails have been removed from the sides (Only held on with two screws) as those rails are a pain to clean paint from, and now has a cleaner profile, but are included in the sale, if you wish to re-attach.
The mods that have been to the X7 are the polished internals, This alone takes a few hours, Using wire wool, 1200grit wet & dry paper, and a lot of warm soapy water (Didn't have to be warm, I just didn't want it cold) It now has a lighter trigger pull (Involving changing and replacing springs in the trigger assembly) Detent has been cut down (Lowers the friction between the ball, and the detent when fired) Tech-t Squishy paddles have been fitted, puts less pressure on the ball when fed through into the breach. The hook that directs the ball into the breach, when coming straight from Tippmann, has sharp edges that nick, and cut balls, these have been sanded smooth. The Tech-t upgraded ratchet, the standard one has a tendency the break under heavy fire (Check the X7 forums, its common), well mine broke when in a fire fight and the very top of the big game last year, (If you where there, you know that it was a long walk) So instead of putting in a new original, I replaced it with the metal one, now lets see it break?!
The main reason for the long drop was because I feel the X7 is quite rear heavy, and I don’t get on well with remote coils. So with this drop, when you hold the marker by its grip (How else you going to hold it) it sits almost parallel. Also it allows you to us the stock correctly, with out a bottle under your arm pit.
Also comes with a 1.1ltr 4500psi (High pressure) Pure energy, fibre wrapped bottle, born date is 2005/06, so will need retesting 2010/06. Also has a Grey Dye bottle cover to protect it from bumps and knocks (2006 model I think)
