I am not entirely sure as to the motive of this post; it comes across as a pop at us promoting this event as something you believe it is not. Whereas, I may not have been 100% descriptive in the title of this post, I believe most of the people on this forum, who have followed these event threads, will have known what I meant.
To be 100% accurate, this is the first UK based exhibition of tournament paintball within a public event environment.
As you can imagine, putting something like this on (at pretty much cost I might add) is hugely time consuming and presents a logistical nightmare; a nightmare we have nearly woken from
Sometimes, I wonder if people can't help but put a little dig in here and there where they feel they can make a 'clever' point - in these cases, the point is usually a long way off 'clever'.
We, and I say we because we have had some great support from the industry and players to support us in trying this approach to add new interest in our sport, are doing this to help us all in the long term - it might work, it might not but we are trying to do something positive - you should give it a try some time.
