I have no hidden agenda and no insult to Robbo was intended - quite the opposite.

My post was a reflection on the fact that there seems to be a large number of posts where a lot of sucking up to Robbo is being done.

Robbo has achieved more than most of us can dream of in paintball, and respect is due to him.

However, it is one thing to pay your respect, but quite another when you lay it on with a trowel.

After all, the masses never came on here and congratulated Matt Tudor on what a great magazine he had and what a great job he was doing with the forum.

:)

Actually they did used to congratulate Matt (at least I did), and to be honest, Pete paid his dues before his PGI/p8ntballer days.

BTW. If someone asked me if my 'ass was getting crowded', I would expect to be either,

a. offended
or
b. In jail.

Co-incidentally enough, I just put the phone down from Matt and you are right, he did more for paintball than I ever did or could; it was his vision that took PGi from being another magazine's insert into the most respected international magazine that it became.

He had a greater insight into the machinations of people in paintball than anybody else I know and prophesied with almost 100% accuracy most of the big things that happened in the last 20 years.

If he had been counseled during paintball's 20 year evolution, I am damned sure we would be in a better place than we are now.

Matt's legacy was being the architect of paintball's greatest ever magazine but his legacy could have been so much more if certain people had listened to him ...me for one.
