Ahhhhh, I see; I knee-jerked with my response because you wouldn't believe the number of Brit ballers who used to criticise us for covering the international aspect of paintball (they seemed to have missed the last word in the name of our magazine) and told us we should concentrate more on UK ball and yet when we asked them what it is they thought was missing, it invariably involved the opportunity of seeing pictures of themselvesJust read your last post on this thread, Robbo.
Not at all - I always look like **** in photos, no matter who takes them.
I liked the way "Adventures" covered Mayhem, as they took photos of all the teams and refs, and covered the event well.
It's good to look back at all the old faces and remember the old times.
Also, it was the Mayhem 1990 issue that introduced me to tournament paintball.
Sadly, "Adventures" declined, whilst PGI went from strength to strength.
RIP Paintball Adventures.
I used to room with 2e sometimes when on the All Americans, he's now living in Florida and running a successful T shirt printing business.Don't worry about it.
I always enjoyed PGI's coverage of events in the USA, and have been fortunate to meet a number of the players featured in its pages over the years.
One of my earliest memories is swapping jackets with 2E - I kept his AA jacket for years, even though it was way too small for me.
What did you think of P8NT magazine? I think it influenced Facefull a great deal.
