Hi i am looking to get a gun. I have a maximum of £300 to buy a gun hopper air and mask. I have seen the Proto SLG UL and may buy but what else is there?

Thanks
Alex

SLG is a solid gun. Accurate, reliable, easy to strip etc. It's a great starter gun. It's great for both sup air and woodsball. Before buying a marker however I would suggest purchasing other equipment first. That is if you don't have it of course. I'd suggest buying the following before a marker.

» Mask ( E Vents, Grills, Profilers, Flex etc)
» Pod Pack / Battlepack ( Cheap nxe 4 pod pack from bzpaintball.co.uk for £12 is brilliant)
» Gloves ( Your Choice )
» Protection ( Your Choice )
» Camo or Pants/Jersey ( Your Choice )

If you're not bothered about getting it second hand, you could get an Etek on here.

If you want a new one, like you said the SLG UL is a great marker. Guessing you were looking at this? or JCS Sports are doing an offer for the G3 with a mask, hopper, air tank and a battle pack for 330 at the moment.

The G3 is easy like a Sunday morning to maintain

id personly prefer to buy a mask new, so a flex 8 or 7 would be a very nice mask, and for about £40 or so,

you can get a second hand steel air bottle in the classifed for around £30 (depending on how much life it has)

cant go wrong with a halo or reloderB, there about £35 or so second hand i think?

soo, we now have £205 for a marker, you could get a very nice PMR for that, an etek, shocker, SLG (second hand on the classifeds)

the best way to decide is to have a trip down to a torny or walk on, and ask some guys for a try of the stuff. or my personal favourite, a trip to BZ and spend about 40 mins trying out/on everything they have in stock :)
