To those who used Freekz Training site and knew of it this is a quick last post to confirm any rumours concerning the re-opening. We joined the paintball community 3 years ago to try and provide a place for Sup air players to train that was well maintained, well run and above all - safe! I believe if you ask those that trained at Freekz they would agree that we met all those standards. For the past few months the site has been re-locating to a far better site, much improved with ample parking, eating area, astro turf etc. I don't need to go on. Yes to those who have asked the new site is now up and running, unfortunately it will not be open for public use now.
We had planned to continue running the site as a training ground and the continuation of the Freekz Summer Series. Whilst constructing the site and finalising a second party in the new site, the person Freekz paid to run the Tournament decided that whilst we were shut he would take the reigns and run his own Tournament.
After discussions with our partner it was decided that the site was now built and ready and that we were not willing to re-join the group of people who had claimed to be friends and aid us through our first few years. Our partner came to the decision that he would like to Sponsor and own his own Team to enter Events next year. The Site is now the sole training ground for the new Freekz Team. The opportunity to play for Freekz this Season with all costs met was offered to the original Team who unfortunately are not able to benefit from this offer now. We are lucky enough to have found a great bunch of guys who are willing to work hard and hopefully do something to prove it next year.
We would on this note like to thank those ballers who did stick by us and wish you luck with this Season, what ever event you are entered for.

Last thankyou to Robbo for allowing us the use of his Forum.
Lastly enjoy paintball!
Good luck to the new Federation, about time something was done and everyone please support and help in all ways possible for the benefit of everyone in the Sport.

Nice, you didn’t even get the name correct, if you going to jump on a band wagon you should at least read the threads on said subject.
This is the most annoying thing about paintball, rumors politics and general shhhit stirring. I have heard a lot about this "site" and the series and the reasons that the freakz events were moved to a more reliable venue. Good luck with your "team" and I hope they enjoy training at your new "site" with all its astro turf and gold covered roads.

Didn't someone almost loose a hand to a dodgy compressor at that site?

If I lost a hand I wouldn't be able to play darts anymore.
He almost lost a hand? So....... he found it again after a good search?

I always find that if you retrace your steps to the last place you KNOW you had it you'll generally be OK.

PS. was Jeff Abbot the reason paintball was nearly banned in Germany? Thats what I heard....
