trouble with SLG UL 09

sorry if this question has been asked before but i couldn't find any deffinate answers.

my new 09 SLG is firing 2 or 3 times per trigger pull for a couple of times, then it goes into full auto crazyness.

help please!!

Dwell perhaps? If it's too low it might do that, just guessing though

i put the bottle on earlier, with the gun off. the thing started firing like it was on full auto??

has anyone had the same problem??

If its firing when you aint touching the trigger, you got issues. If its firing after a couple of trigger pulls your settings are wrong.

Dont quote me on this, but its either setting 3, or 4 on the board, and set it to 1 for semi. Should tell you in the manual anyways.

In the PMR manual, there is only 3 firing modes listed but theres actually 4. The fourth being full auto. Your SLG may be the same.

Hi Buff,

I am no tech but i know that the SLG can trip like that if the sear isn't connecting truely with the bolt, or if there is lube on the catch on the bolt then it can cause the sear to slip going full auto. Maybe check that out first.

thanks for your help guys, i think there was too much lube used?? i cleaned the bolt, eyes, detents and sear. seems to be working ok now, just gets a bit touchy if i adjust the reg.
we'll see what happens when it comes to chrono time wednesday evening
