Bounce Off Mask!

Hey guys, ive got blue digi camo empire events, and was in the snake (secondf bunker to be exact) and i popped up quickly to have a loooook and someone shot me in the mask right at the bottom because i felt it push it and hit my chin, but it didnt breaks :S

I mean if could have been dodgey paint or just luck but has anyone else ever got a bounce off the mask because ive never even heard of such a thing before.

Well the e-vents are designed this way, so it wasnt a gift from God or anything but yeah its not 100% nor is it 50/50 your just lucky to benefit from it on occasion.

probably dodgy paint, I've had it happen in my axis pro's and my I3 pro's.

Mostly happens in training when people are using cheap ass paint

its better when you get a bounce of the lense. you've got no idea where you are!

I've had it happen several times while wearing my grillz , always broke on the lense, but the softer parts and the sides they normally bounce

i was playing scenario the other day and a longball hit the side of my I4 near my chin, wandered back to the safe zone and found it had bounced!

just pure luck realy everyone was using decent paint that day!

i dont think anyone would complain about a bounce tbh!

It is luck, and the quality of the paint. Ive had balls bounce of nearly every set of goggles Ive owned in over 10 yrs of playing going right back to my first set of hard plastic JTs.

But that being said, Ive watched a ball bounce off the grass and hit me on the pad and it broke

There is quite a bit of randomness that goes on on the field

i quite regulay get bounces of my mask partically when i own a pro flex, evan agasit tigars i took on the cheak area call for a cheak, called me clean so its luck i think, saying that i did get run down a few seconds later

i shot someone in the mask once and saw the ref running in with the classic "oooooouuuuutttttttt" so i turned my attention elsewhere ... next thing i know i get mugged by that very same player, it had bounced.

i explained my disbelief for a ref reversing a decision on the fly lol

think i was wearing black socks, dont know if that helps?

I use an old JT flex 7 and if a shot hits on the chin it will more than likely bounce, mask pushes in, beard slows it down and its either a bounce or a mouth full of paint.
