So this advice should apply to any event using the Bitburg layout - such as CPPS.

There is a disclaimer within the article regarding that.

At position 2 on his layout, you also have a relatively good lane on the snake through the pins (provided MS dimensions are used), and if you dog leg out to 2, then you have a pretty safe place to shoot that lane on your way into the snakeside MT. It allows you to hold a solid lane, and you don't have to break it to get into your primary. We found it useful after losing our snake player two games in a row, as it's a relatively easy bump to snake from MT once you've taken a player off that side.

There is a disclaimer within the article regarding that.

My primary concern was that players check their layout for how closely it matches the grid. For example, we practiced the Chicago layout for PSP today and while it wasn't off by much it was enough to change, add and subtract various lanes and shots around the field.
