I agree JF21, you put it better than I could. Boddy with greatest respect, and I mean this as I dont want to argue, you dont know either party you have said that. I know Andy Sables very well and you sound like your backing the forum owner through default which in itself doesnt hold weight. However I agree with you why cant people work together? I would love to see that. To me it seems like paintball is doomed in the UK becasue its constantly people arguing. To a new comer it must look terrible.

Is that an example or is that a accusation? Maybe people are quick to judge Robbo, but when you make posts like the above what do you expect?

As you said Dusty im not privvvy to all the information and as such can not make an informed decision the only thing that worries me (and it doesn’t worry me too much is other people are in the same boat and may make a no informed decision on these people based on the above post.

I have no problem with the rules and have made my opinions clear on this subject so I will leave it at that.

And you really think Robbo isn't trying to get everyone working together to better UK paintball? I thought that was the point of The Federation.

I didn't say I was backing anyone, merely stated a few facts. Robbo is effectively the boss here, I'm merely staff and WILL enforce the new rules as is the Mod's job here, and by your own logic you know Andy Sables very well, and will back him by default "which in itself doesn't hold weight"

The Federation are making concerted efforts for the first time in the history of UK ball to have everyone move forward together, and anyone who attempts to belittle that, or disrupt it in my book is making a rod for their own back, and doing UK ball no good at all no matter what they may claim publicly.

I have no reason to doubt Robbo, and based on what I do happen to know, I know which side of the fence I'll be sitting on.

Guys, I am sure Hitler had some redeeming qualities but I'm afraid we judge that scumbag on what he did as a whole.
In the same vein, I think some people can quote occasions when sable or abbott has been normal or helpful or whatever but I am taking this stance on their overall character and my knowledge of the these men (?) from my dealings with them.

For good or bad, I will be judged on certain things but what you cannot do, is ever tell me I haven't tried to do a lot for UK ball.
I might have some less than wholesome ways in going about things sometimes but overall, I must have some credibility otherwise the other board members wouldn't have seen fit to have voted me in as chairman ... I am sure some people would prefer to believe I was holding a knife to all their throats as the voting slips came round but the truth was somewhat different (it was a baseball bat).



I do not ever indulge myself on these boards for no reason in terms of these attacks on individuals.
Beforehand, there has generally been a protracted period of scumbag behaviour from these guys, and I have either held back and asked them to stop or just ignored them and hoped it would stop.

If we assume the Federation is actually trying to do the right thing then sable is actively working against that by a continued rhetoric of groundless accusations and criticism...the man's a buffoon.

abbott writes emails slagging me off to other members of the board trying to undermine me (I have copies) and the reason for this has nothing to do with my competency or credentials; he does it because he is trying to dikh me over.
And what has never been in contention regarding abbott, he committed fraud in an attempt to steal from me, I will line up the witnesses now if someone chooses to disbelieve me or try to justify his actions.
And those people include Millennium board members, pro players and others, all of whom are respected.
He hasn't got the balls to face me like a man, either intellectually or otherwise and so he resorts to this snake-like behavior.

And so, everything to do with fatbobs, yorkshire paintball or whatever, comes off this site in 7 days please ...thankyou.

JF, I am not a stupid man, I do not do things like this arbitrarily, there will always be reasons that I can back up ...... now, if you want me to, I can, and I will, but if scumbag sable is a 'friend' of yours, then I'd be somewhat reluctant to push my buttons if I were you which would result in me telling you the whole story of what he did ... he really wouldn't want you to do that, trust me.
Mind you, he could try and call my bluff

Now, if and when I post up the whys and wherefores, you can of course elect to disbelieve me, and of course, that is entirely up to you and all I will say is, in the 9 years or so this site has been going, and after well over 8000 posts, I have only ever spoken the truth on this site...do some research on that JF... it might help you make up your mind mate.

A little harsh i think.
you are all in the same game, trying to do the same thing.
Which is promoting the sport / industy of paintball. think how much better it could be if we all got along.

Biglamb, harsh yes, but certainly not undeserved.
The problem is, we are all in the same game but it is sable who is continually trying to undermine this 'same game'.

Look Biglamb, I don't wanna sound patronizing mate coz I'm not sure how old you are but sometimes in life, people like sable just can't stop themselves from acting the way they do when they feel rejected.

These people have a distorted view of themselves and their standing within our sport and so when they see a perceived rejection, as in not being asked to go on the federation board, they see it as a personal insult.

In their heads, they would scream something like, 'how the hell can those pompous bastids leave me out when I am so important'???

This then leads to feelings of rejection and humiliation which then leads on to negative behaviours such as these attacks he makes.
It's pretty sick really but it's his way of showing he has clout. or thinking he has clout, but in the end, he will achieve nothing because of the very same reason he wasn't asked to be on the board...he is nothing.

What strikes me is the way you (Robbo) have written what you have but again thats up to you and as many people like to shout out "It's your forum so you can say what you want" but I personally think you have a responsibility to the players who use this forum AND as the Federation chairman not to ban people simply becasue they support a shop that supplies them paintball equipment becasue you have a personal issue with someone.

I read about you Robbo (Apologies if it makes you feel old mate) when I was a kid and bought the PGI magasines and grew up with paintball and watched it grow. I have also seen you slate people before which has been justified and I like your no nonsense approach. But for me this is so petty putting it on a forum that it amazes me. We are grown men!!! I'm not doing this to take sides although I do know Andy, I would say this even if I didnt know either of you but this is on par with what kids do in play grounds.

Picking up on your Hitler comments which again I enjoyed dont you think Dustys comments remind you of the Pol Pot era?

Remember people just like me are what make paintball what it is. Im just a player, not a pro, not that good! but I play most weekends. Just because this is one post dont push it aside, you could ban me, but there are millions just like me and they are the everyday paintballer who you will want to join the Federation. Would I honestly want to join a Federation going off your first post? Nope. It suprises me it really does. I just hope you see my point. He's not bothered about you supporting the shop. Thats your call. What he doesn't want is for these forums to give YPC any platform to promote themselves. Essentially its his forum and its what earns him his livlihood. Many, many other shops support this site and pay for the right. For me, its a simple case of business savvy with some good old animosity thrown in to the mix. A perfect combination.

You say you wouldn't want to join the federation off Robbo's forst post. Thats cool, but for a moment, just look at who is working with Robbo. If that isn't an indicator as to Robbo's integrity i really dont know what is...

Thats the problem with the Sport... its a businees for most and it affects those who choose to play for fun as a sport/recreation not for business. We all need to remember we do this for FUN. Its a game. I have played paintball for 9 years and I cannot beleive how so many people who have something in common can argue so much.
