Looking to buy my first marker

I am have been playing paintball with my university society. And now its time to buy my own kit. i have been looking at some packages with the Proto SLG UL. And i would like some outside advise. here are the two packages that im looking into.

Bottom one if you can afford the extra money it's well worth it. I'd recommend saving and getting the second one if you can't afford it right now too.

I'm guessing the second package is the LiPS one, if so you've missed out the Proto Switch mask ... Only thing i'd say see if LiPS could change the mask to a higher spec one for a bit more dollar. Something like Flex's, Events, Grillz, I3's / I4's etc

you get what you pay for really. Youll want to upgrade most things from the top package quite quickly. However, its whether your willing to pay for it, the bottom package doesn't have a mask either.

yes i did leave out the mask by mistake on the bottom one. sorry about that. im also wondering on the bottom what would i be lookin to upgrade within the first year?

Yep I would definetly go for the bottom one, I'm thinking the only upgrades you may require at first are possibly the mask and maybe a tank cover

Mask.
Bottle ( to a fibre wrapped one ).
Probably a new barrel too, as the stock 1piece will be fairly inaccurate compared to aftermarket barrels.

That's it to be honest mate, the rest of the stuff is top notch ... possibly a new marker later on if you feel like it but it's not really an issue as it's a great little marker

Are you thinking of playing Supair? If you are, sometime down the road I'd get a 14" barrel for the SLG UL too, the stock 11" that comes with the SLG is pretty good but I prefer a longer barrel (Mainly for using it to move bunkers out of the way). Each to their own though, you did ask for opinions

Well, thats helped me choose the one i will be ordering tomorrow. thanks for the help. i guess i will have to buy the upgrades at a later date. once again thanks
