Is my bottle UK legal?

No, said if I wanted it back they would have to make the bottle unusable. so I told them to scrap it. £60 down the drain and now im tankless and havent got ne money to buy another for a while :mad:

Thats harsh, who sold it you? contact them and ask for your money back for selling you a dodgey bottle? =/
Sorry, why is it harsh, that the retesting facility would disable a vessel deemed unsafe to hold high-pressure air? After all, is it not why they are subject to re-test in the first place, to ensure that they are safe? Or is it the fact that he has had to pay for the testing? Only ambulance chasing lawyers offer a no win no fee service.

Frankly, if he bought it out of test, and knew it was out of test, its a case of Caveat Emptor - buyer beware.

Yes we can feel sorry for him, but life is harsh, get over it and move on.

i didnt mean that the fact the company has to make the bottle unable for use, i meant that the buyer sold it him probably knowing that the bottle wouldnt pass.

I meant that the whole situation is 'harsh'

The point that we can no longer post on the forums without having your throat cut is HARSH...
