Is 4 day event viable in this present financial climate?

This is from the "Rumour Mill". The unfinished games from Malaga will be played on the Thursday in Germany.
This will mean more cost and the need to take more time off, can all the teams cope with this in this credit crunch.

surely is would be cheaper to put up 2 extra fields to catch up on the games then hire a venue for an extra day? where would the funds come from for the extra days hire etc

When I first heard I was of the same opinion like you, but after thinking about it longer I came to the conclusion that it was a thought-through decision.

You're saying they should have measures, but can you come up with any that are reasonable? - Remember, whatever they do, you will be paying the cost of it.
