Welcome dude! You'll find all the help you need here bro. First things first, get a good mask (don't cheap out here, it's the most important piece of kit you'll own). Depending on your face shape, I recommend Empire E-vents, JT proflex, or VForce Grillz. They'll set you back between £40-£60. It makes a huge difference when your mask doesn't fog up. After that, THEN you can think about buying yourself a marker/loader/bottle/etc. What's your budget and what kind of paintball are you looking at playing (ie, woodsball or sup'air?)?

Bude is non-existent for the next month or two due to un-employment but after that will be about £200 a month, and not sure o the ball i want to play I want to be serious but not sure if the woodsball scene is big enough

Welcome! Devrij's advice is good listen to it. I started as a newbie aswell and didn't rush into things. Did my research read reviews, forums etc. I suggest buying things in this order.

Mask [ JT FLex, Grills, Events, Proto Axis ]
No fogging, Enhanced Gameplay, You will perform much better, Greater vision etc.

Pack [ Nxe ]
Cheap pack makes a big difference. Easier to reload and haul paint around rather than a crappy rental one which is falling to bits.

Pants [ Dye, Proto, Eclipse, Angel etc]
Comfort, Easier to run, Bounces etc.

Gloves [ Any ]
Stop your hands getting ripped to shreds and better grip on marker.

Marker & Hopper [ Any]
Obvious reasons, reliability, accuracy, range, bps etc etc.

Carbon Air Tank [ Any you fancy ]
Lighter, More reliable and more shots per fill.

Other Essentials/Choices: Headwear, pads, footwear, Jersey, squeeqes, pods, Towel, Caddy etc.
