My ego 8 leaks from the qev every now and again, i can gas it up and it will work fine 9/10 times but every so offen it has a little leak from the qev, it still shoots perfectly and consistant over the chrono even when its leaking, i can strip it down and it works fine so i think problem fixed but then after being de-gassed for a while (say over night) it might leak when its gassed back up, turn off the gas and back on once or a few times and its fine.
Could it be a qev diapham not seeting quite right or something?
I have done the usual battery and also changed all the rammer o rings and the 2 small o rings that seal between the frame and the qev.
Should i just strip the qev and see how it goes?
Its not a big problem as like i say it turn it off and back on a couple of times its spot on, it just kinda annoys me coz i like everything to work bang on all the time, i keep everything in top notch condition lubed after every play and serviced regularly. The only thing i have changed is a ccu kit recently but i wouldnt have thought that could cause any problems?
