do they both shoot flat?

are they both shoot soft?

What about the trigger settings?

I've got a droid at the mo and selling an ego 08 was thinking of either the dm 9 or th geo

anybody fill me in on the differences if any?

most kind

They shoot paintballs at 300fps which are pulled back to the ground under their own weight.
So they shoot as flat as any other gun shooting 300fps except maybe the tippmann flatline.

They are both soft on paint and have nice triggers.

Personally I would keep the guns you've got.
The grass always seems greener on the other side. It rarely is.

There also

Ones planet :D:D:D:D(Great guns!)

And

Ones dye :)(good guns)

Ones abit soft on paint for the dye guns due to the hyper 3 reg.

But the gun is a fabulous gun it is good one paint is very efficent :D.

I prefer geo :)

So If you put a hyper reg on a Geo it would become softer on paint?

Just trying to understand what you mean...
Its softer on the paint i think because it changes the pressure flow doesnt it

*Sorry if i sound like a GOOBER!*

By the way can you put a hyper 3 reg on a geo hmm....

Exsprement i think:p

how soft the gun is on paint has nothing to do with the reg, a better reg means more consistant fps and flow/recharge rate not how hard the bolt hits the ball.

Im still not convinced that the pressure or flow would reduce the force of the bolt.
There must be other things going on than just the reg to make that difference.

Even with an AKA reg which are the best performing regs money can buy, you get improved concistency but wont make a gun lighter on paint.

They do a hyper3 with standard reg threads so you could stick one on a geo and find out...

Its the LPR on the DM9 (which the geo doesn't have) which makes it more able to shoot softer paint.

Look at the price comparison
DM9 £793.95 from LIPS
GEO £983.55 from Planet Eclipse

I am Currently Shooting the DM9, IMO the best gun i'v ever shot, it shoots where you point it and where you want it to go. I know of so many people from my own team and tigers 2 which have been so impressed by the accuracy of this compared to any other gun they have ever shot 'prevously'.

The gun does take a little more time to clean and relube, but its tested technology. IT WORKS.

Dye's service is as good as Planets. At the end of the day, you will be paying for
1)Styling
2)Price
3)reliability?(geos not been around as long)

IMO, get the DM9 and spend the rest of the money on paint to get pro like NEXUS who (OMG what a coincidence) shoot DM9's! ;)
