why buy a new tank when you can just try and change your burst disc and save yourself alot of money if it doesnt burst again...
Save yourself some cash, save up and buy yourself a real gun instead of your SLG?
first of all the SLG does a sound job considering im still pretty new to the sport and cant yet see the point shelling out too much money when I can only afford to play once or twice a month at the moment.
As been mentioned Crossfire regs can / should only be serviced by Crossfire themselves, and I do not have the money, time or willing to pay to send the reg to the states to have it fixed then sent back, tbh that is a colossal waste of money which could be spent towards a new reg / new bottle. Unless you know of somewhere in the UK?
My current tank has obviously been put through its paces over its years and to be honest, my lack of knowledge on the subject leaves me a little bit un-easy using equipment that is a bit old and could be tempermental/faulty. I know any product could be faulty and cause problems at any time, but I would trust a brand new tank more than a 5 year old one.
I do have a new burst disc and I will be seeking help in assessing the problem in the reg and testing to see if it was simply a faulty burst disc or whether I need a new reg. I shall then fix which ever problem I may find, get the tank tested in October and use the bottle as a spare.
Each to their own mate. I'd just rather pay to be safe then continue on with self serviced products based on my zero knowledge... Fair?
