Is there a official Crossfire dealer in the uk that can service/fix reg's....
It looks looks i have a corrupt internal seal in my HP reg as i keep bursting low pressure burst discs (1800psi) every few days after filling the bottle and the reg isn't meant to be user serviceable (so crossfire say :().and has to be sent either to crossfire in the states or an official service agent
Thanks in advance....

My 1.8 k popped on my Crossfire on Saturday, I have ordered a new 1.8 K from SlothBall,
(Do you just unscrew the old and replace with the new burst disc?)

I hope theres not a problem with it as it looks like ill be in the same situation as you dude :(

why buy a new tank when you can just try and change your burst disc and save yourself alot of money if it doesnt burst again...

Save yourself some cash, save up and buy yourself a real gun instead of your SLG? :p

 first of all the SLG does a sound job considering im still pretty new to the sport and cant yet see the point shelling out too much money when I can only afford to play once or twice a month at the moment.

As been mentioned Crossfire regs can / should only be serviced by Crossfire themselves, and I do not have the money, time or willing to pay to send the reg to the states to have it fixed then sent back, tbh that is a colossal waste of money which could be spent towards a new reg / new bottle. Unless you know of somewhere in the UK?

My current tank has obviously been put through its paces over its years and to be honest, my lack of knowledge on the subject leaves me a little bit un-easy using equipment that is a bit old and could be tempermental/faulty. I know any product could be faulty and cause problems at any time, but I would trust a brand new tank more than a 5 year old one.

I do have a new burst disc and I will be seeking help in assessing the problem in the reg and testing to see if it was simply a faulty burst disc or whether I need a new reg. I shall then fix which ever problem I may find, get the tank tested in October and use the bottle as a spare.

Each to their own mate. I'd just rather pay to be safe then continue on with self serviced products based on my zero knowledge... Fair?

Thankyou Tom for your VERY kind offer :D

At the minute mate I have no money to get things sorted,

After thinking about it Im going to wait untill I get my tank tested before I get the reg done, because if the tank fails then it renders the reg pretty much useless! So for now ill put the money towards my new tank!

But I will bear your offer in mind Tom!
How much would it be to ship fix an ship back do you think mate?

Again thankyou
