Yes they have padding on the corotch. They have had no use, not been worn and are still with original packing ect ect

iv had a look at the proto size chart and their saying L goes upto 35", im 38"
but having said that, my pants go up to the same size, and they fit...

have you had any experiense, or any knowledge to put my mind at ease?

mmm im not too sure to be honest, its slide shorts so you want them to be a bit tight, best bet is to ask someone else the same sort of size
