  that cheap

Apart from teh new magno internals and the shiny milling of the fly and other various versions, it's not had to change for 2 years, and I can see it not having to change it's design any time soon, it works well, why change it :)

Aye, about £439.45  :D

Anyway I'm rambling, back to the point £1400 for just the gun  you could get 2 full A1 setups for that price, mask, bottle, hopper, pack the works, and have change to get a pint and a bag of crisps

yes it's new and shiny, but I can't honestly see how they justify a £1400 price tag.

You can buy a Land Rover for £20k, you can buy an Audi equivalent for £40K, at the end of the day it is personal choice, those who want it will buy it...

Those who find it harder will justify will do without. At the end of the day the are limited edition and not everyone can afford them.

Am sure if David Beckham took up paintball he would go to Planet and Buy an SL, but no doubt it would be custom anno'd to include all his kids, girlfriends, wife and bits on the side.

The SL8r was £1200 last year wasn't it Carl? Can't remember:confused:
Around that mark i think mate, i think when they first posted the new sl94 price in the site it was £1084... lucky if you pre-ordered at that id say. :D.

I shot my 09 for the first time at the NSPL this weeked and it shot faultless.

I can say i love it but i will also say not sure i think as much effort went into the body styling on the 94 as the previous SL's.. Internals well that could be a different matter.

I will certainly be taking a good look at one in Malaga ,, Im sure cash might speak wonders out there if sales are down :D:D..

You out there mate ??

Should have been but no:( Might be at Paris though:) Have to say i'm well happy with my standard 09 Ego's sweet as straight out of the box. As you know i've got an SL8r hardly been used as my work horse turned out to be a 1 of 200 Vicious Ego with a Violent trigger and my SL8r board. Cheapest marker and my favourite out of every marker i own:D

Were not talking about special edition 1off egos here though, were talking about you and me

Ok , I see your point on this. People with the money will pay for the limited edition shininess, I fully agree with that , but still . . the bog standard no shiny extra milling, sparkly bits or one off custom thingy me bobbys is still £983.55 . . . thats the price of a full A1 setup as I mentioned earlier and a good chunk of the money for paint to play . . . . or a pint in London

my original point, I still can't justify the cost, even on a standard one.
