Thanks robbo , I think Ive learnt that it is best that we all stop trying to figure out the mysteries of the ban button phenomena and just let it do its job
I wil just stay on this forums leeching knowledge off the unwary and basking in the fountain of knowledge that can only be robbo

To answer the original question though, the ban button is carried around by all the mods in the form of a briefcase that is attached to on of our wrists. If the need of a ban arises, we open the case, enter the code only known to us, log into the Strategic Air Command network and hey presto, another fool is vapourised.

Along with an area the size of a small country.
