Hello All!

Im from Chester Cheshire!

Im VERY new to the sport!

Long story short I went paintballing for the first time with some friends on 19/3/09 and now im HOOKED!!

Over the coming months Im looking at picking up this stuff to start with.....

- V Force Profiler Mask in Blue (Already Purchased)
- Dye Rotor Loader & Quick Feed in Blue or Black
- NXe 4-POD Harness SP Pack in Black
- PMI Pure Energy 48/3000 Air Tank
- 09 Proto SLG Marker in Blue or Black

Alright bro!

I think im just gonna go for the SLG not the UL, I CBA paying another £40 jus for a slightly lighter frame!

But its all Good!!!

I'm from Manchester mate. As for the SLG, I thought that the 09 came with UL as standard. It also has a clamping feedneck and a better board (i think, someone correct me if i'm wrong) than the older SLG.

As for kit, i bought the marker new, then got all other kit 2nd hand off the forums, some real bargains out there and the 2nd hand kit tends to be in really reasonable shape.

I think the only differences seem to be the Weight of the frame, and a slight difference in shell design!

Im not completely sure though, I think they have the same board in terms of firing modes etc?!

Don't forget UL frames retail at £150 on there own , the main thing about them is there hour glass shape gives you a much nicer feel and grip

Yeah! They are good to be fair, but ive got nothing to compare them to, so personally I think going for the normal SLG and gettin used to that makes sense really! Then I could always upgrade to a UL frame in the future If I ever found the SLG heavy.....

Yeah I probably would get it in Black. I only thought blue for it to go with my mask lol! Colour Code FTW!
