Maybe, your years of private schooling may have neglected you in other ways..

Look at it from another viewpoint. It might make things clearer..
I think its unfair to blame private schooling, its just a matter of perspective, we all have to learn to see others views.

(im also an ex-private school boy)

i used to think free money was there to be taken but since i have travelled the world and seen the places of the world where people suffer on an incomprehensible scale i have changed my mind, I have been to india, cumbuco brazil, milawe africa and other places besides which really hit it home to me how fortunate we are and how selfish we are
All this inbeetween school and college abroad? My god.

Scotty you come across to me as Jelous of Jade's kids and up yourself if im being honest. Shes giving her kids nothing more than footballer's (as an example) give their kids. Except footballer's childern gererally didnt loose a mother/father getting what they have.

I disliked Jade ever since her appearance on BB, but fair play to the woman, anybody who says they wouldn't do the same are lying to themselves and everybody else.

It's not selfish. Yes, we are all fortunate to an extent. You may argue we are all fortunate to be alive, you may argue we are only fortunate if we live a good life.

I can argue you were fortunate enough to experience this reality. I appreciate it can have a great effect on one, but for those not fortunate enough to experience this, cannot be accused of selfishness.

I think I could debate this for a while.. But the answers will only be the obvious (which to me are pretty clear)
Everyone does the best they can to further their lives, you are a prime example. But for tonight, a debate of foreign world affairs is too bigger topic, maybe save it for next week?

it wasn't so much we as people but rather we as a nation and an MEDC

i do robbo and i admit i went quite a bit too far, this is only because i feel passionately about people being give a chance. However to admit ones shortcomings is to show a great strength so i apologize to all. I did not do it to be be nasty but i just got...... well frustrated if you can understand?
Scotty, I think we all feel passionately about the injustices we witness every day in the media; There are times when I would just love to seriously injure some politicians, bankers and Arsenal supporters.

It is obvious you are passionate Scotty, but a misplaced passion is just as bad as some of the things you are getting pi$$ed at.
If you get into a debate, the moment you allow your emotions to influence how you think and consequently what you write, this is the moment when the truth begins to slip through your fingers.

I think thats a whole different topic :) So we'll leave it that. And I for one, am not to clued up on current world affairs and the ins and outs of what our nation are doing to help others, but I know that were not doing nothing at all.

i understand, 'one should not enter the heat of debate unless you can put your thoughts on ice' sort of thing

why is that my friend as i have got 8 A* and 2 A's at GCSE and am on course for 4 A's at A level, i am applying for London school of Economics and you think i should ask for my money back?
not really sure how going to a private school affected this, i went to my local comprehensive and achieved something not miles off of that.

I just dont see how it can relate to the Jade Goody point, sure you/your parents have more cash than me, and hopefully her kids will get a better start in life thanks to what she did, id be chuffed if i got 700 grand at my funeral, i admit i can see that now.
