That is exactly what i was going for, unfortunately i don't think i'm allowed to hand them the picture and basically go 'Hey, see this, fit it around my mini!'.

I like that design you're looking at, but personally reckon it's a bit too chunky and not swirly enough
If I had some photo shop skills to show what I mean I'd probably go for something like http://www.pink-fusion.co.uk/acatalog/ring-oxi-swirly-band-large.jpg esque swirls around the barell, joined from the tip of the barrel to the hopper or rammer by http://tattoo.about.com/library/graphics/kevinryanback.jpg type inter-locking designs but with sharp-ish ends

Well, the design I posted I would like to run from end to end of the marker so obviously it would be thinned using some programme or another - hence less chunkiness; any chunkiness at all would be centred around the back where I think it would look appropriate as the mini has quite a lot of anno showing towards the end.
I got the idea initially after watching a techpb review of the mini on YouTube and noticing his marker was lasered; you can find it .
Was trying to get as much info as i could before i did that, but i think you're right - might as well.call up Sloth mate, then you'll get the answer straight away
What you could do is take a picture of a mini flat on and make yourself a blah blah blah
you can make a design fit your mini.. if time isnt an issue i can do it on mac when im not busy.. Your design is easy to recreate, all id have to do is pen over it copy them and use a mini pic for a mask ^
