i used a ion the other day with a virtue board and freak barrel kit and to be honnest appart from the range the gun never let me down all day not one barrel break or battery problems brilliant modifacation
You may want to consider getting the Epiphany firing can upgrade, depending on the way you play. The firing can upgrade allows you to eliminate "drop off" at higher rates of fire. Although you will get more "kick" when using one. If your not going to be lingering in the higher rates of fire, maybees get the un1tech firing can upgrade which is a larger firing can than the stock one. This allows you to lower your markers pressure, efectivly letting you get more shots per fill and less "kick" when firing.
I'm shocked that no one has said a hammer, a bonfire, or the bin, things ain't what they used to be. Did all the Ion haters spontaneously combust with their pent up anger?

I've never much fancied aftermarket boards, and all the mixed reviews for QEVs put me off those, but the people who have used them and know what they are talking about are definately worth listening to.
if a paintball is travelling at 300fps it will travel the same distance no matter what barrel it's just left - unless the barrel is giving the paintball spin etc.
