Edit, - you could go cheaper, but as you want it to play games one, any cheaper will result in performance loss

Out of luck mate, the price of getting this upgraded to DoW2 specs will be pretty much the same as buying a new pc alltogether.

Heh, I meant the model number it is usually on the outside of the case-eg Pavillon 5700 or something like that! Should have explained better!

well thats obvious but you do realise that he gets dawn of war 2 graphics recommend spec ... then next batch of games will want higher better spend more now that will last 5 years then upgrade constantly

Not a problem, but if you could spare a little more towards it say £300 ish, improve the cpu and gpu that you get

But like has been said, the next lot of games your machine will probably not play properly

pretty much, yeah. tho OEM machines can't really be upgraded that much, think you've got to put OEM parts in it or they have a hissy fit at you
