The game fee hasn't been decided yet but it will be comparable to similar events.

We have air on-site up to 4500psi for UKPSF members. We always have CO2 on site for people without air.

It is not a BYO event but we will have decent paint on site for you.

So what your saying is, your not content with stealing just the concept from another site but now there pricing too?? Shame you didn't copy the BYO option as well!!!!

Just because his names bandwagon it doesn't mean you should jump on it! :):):)

Sorry rant over but I think its a bit naughty really but more to the point if there are to many pump events in the area then it will simply dilute the small number of players interested between several sites over several weekends and the lack of numbers will surely make it unfeasible and therefore they will all get cancelled? This would be sucha shame as they only just begun.

Since the first event I seen that 5 sites are now offering pump days?!? That worries me for the above reasons.

So you're saying that Holmbush invented pump days? I have been on at Niall for over a year to do a pump event.

Of course the pricing is going to be similar if you think about it. Our regular walkon is £60 with a box of paint for non UKPSF members, if we provide half the amount of paint then the price will reflect that. If we price it too high no one will come, too cheap and the day will lose money.

I don't know about 5 sites doing a pump day, there is Holmbush, us and Sabotage as far as I can tell. Geographically we are far enough apart. Team GBH are the only people who go to walkons at both sites as far as I know.

Have you considered the other side of the argument, that more interest will be created in pump play by having more events? This section of the forum has got busier recently with various people looking at buying their own pump. I even get PMs about buying a Sterling.

Ian,

Not having a pop at you personally and i see what you saying but i do worry that flooding the market to soon might not be the best way of handling it.

Not implying that Holmbush invented pump but if you have been trying to get a pump day going for a year, why now? bit of a coinsidence to my mind :):):)

No hostilities though pal, i hope it goes real well for all the site doing it. it would be great for all pump players if it does take off but my concerns still stand

J.C why the argument? if the market gets flooded the only people loosing out are the sites and i think they know what they are doing since they live off the money they earn

campaign pump day

Look at this another way sites are all turning too pump and limited paint in reaction too global credit crunch it makes sense i use on average 2/3 boxes at standard walk-on i use halve a box at pump day and 1 box on limited paint days so saving money.
This is why so many sites are making this decision too keep up numbers and not axing walk ons all together which make them very little money compared too punters £100+ for box of paint. So we should support the sites or we will have no wear too play soon.
