dm7 battery life

i use duracell 9v procells in my dm7, but find i am having to change the batteries very frequently (3-4 cases per battery) i have no gone through 2 batteries in the space of about a month, and am about to replace the 3rd

can anyone help? i sometimes practice without the gun turned on, snapping in the mirror etc, to keep my fingers in shape, could this wear down the battery?

theres no way its lasted 40,000 trigger pulls though.

Is the gun yours from new?

If not, it may have an RF chip or HAD one, in it. If the SIG OUT setting is on, I think this uses more juice. More over, does it have Laser eyes?
These use more juice and you have to set the BBSS to HI. Again, it could have had some prior to you owning it.

If in doubt, call Planet. In fact, call them anyway unless one of them answer on here.

nah, i got it off ghostrocket from LOKI

no laser eyes, it has a millenium chip/board for 2008 rules, im going to ring dye tomorrrow probably, would be a tad to ring up planet about a matrix

No idea why I was on about the Ego, when it plainly says DM7. Anyway, some of it still applies!

What is the dwell set to? If you energise the noid for longer than required, by bad setup, that will eat batteries.

Somewhere between purple and 42, depending on the weather...

I think THE MANUAL, mentions something about it, but it is all about balancing the LPR and dwell (start dwell Low) to get consistency and velocity, efficiency.

hmm, the last person that looked at the LPR was ash from dye, so i aint changing nothing!!!!

ill give them a ring tomorrow, i expect its just me being dense
