thats the problem, sometimes times its not shipped great, if you look at most websites they have disclaimers... i guess your right but sometimes the corrier isnt shipped properly, you've got to agree with that.

What's your budget for paint?

Personally I've never bought paint for any less then £30 as I've never come across anything cheaper that works better. Proto paint is in my opinion very good and stores well too if you have any left over. I'd also rate Diablo Forumual 13. I use a PMR 09 and previously an SLG 08 and both the above paint had been excellent. If you can, keep away from cheap stuff like Python (green coating), I've had barrel breaks something stupid and also be cautious of anything with field paint in the names - they are like ping-pong balls. They bounce like mad and hurt when they hit but don't break on the target that well.

Hope this helps?

Like everyone here's said: you get what you pay for. It's finding that compromise between budget and quality that you're after. If you're just training and you want to keep it cheap, any old paint will do (to an extent, some is just rubbish and should never have been made), but if you're sick of your paint arcing off in weird directions, breaking in your gun, or not breaking on target then you might want to look at some mid-range paint (blaze, inferno, formula 13, and the like), or if you have money falling out of your rectum buy something good like chronic.

Totally agree mate! But if you buy from someone like LiPS you wont have an issue.

White bx is usually VERY inconsistent, and thus innaccurate, but okay for target practise and training. I'll give another vote for blaze though - shoots straight through all the guns I've used it through, and breaks consistently on target..

paint

I used to buy paint in bulk to get the best price. I've thrown away some much stale paint that way, what I do now is after every walkon we do, I scout around the bigger teams asking if anyone has over ordered, that way I can usually pick up a couple of boxes of good quality paint for less than £20 a box.
Most sites will either let you use your own paint or will let you rotate one for one as long as you buy paint from them on the day which will keep your stock fresh.
Don't try to bulk store, it just won't keep well, even if you keep it at a good temp and turn it regularly! IMHO ;)

White box is made up of most manufacturers end of runs, which dont make the grade, which can be mishaped, odd sizes. This could end up blocking a hopper or stuck in the feedneck

This time of year your probably better of playing with a 'know' makes cheapest 'named' ball as the shell tends to be thicker on these and whilst not every ball breaks on target it will leave your gun. (Cold tends to make the shell more brittle)

If you forked out for top tourney paint with a thinner shell, with this in mind, you could end up with a good paint spreader rather than a lethal weapon ;)
