hi I just bought the 08 electra off ebay in a package with all the stuff I need. Had to buy a battery and charger and now found I need a HPA tank so does anyone know where I can get one cheap.

Anyway, A few of my friends are getting gear also but its so hard finding somewhere to play. Does anyone in the area of sunderland/newcastle know anyone where I can play whether in teams or just a park lol. I emailed massive attack in sunderland and they said they let people bring own equipment on normal days but wasnt sure if I could use own paintballs. Also they said they did a walkon day last week with a few people and asked if i would be interested. I have heard of the universal place but does this mean im going to have to fork out for a license and loads of other crap? we are all 15/15 and would be grateful if u cud help! much love.

http://www.planeteclipse.co.uk/site/prodView.asp?prodID=1672 a nice 48/3k steelie for £53.79

http://www.massiveattackpaintball.co.uk/ (i went here on a day out with friends) is a good site, but I dont think that they do walk-ons, but still, you can check them out, they have up-to-date facilities and equipment:cool:(wow, i must sound like a right old fan boy)

you ould just go back to the place where your friends went for their walk-on most places hold walk-ons weekly/monthly

I think that insurance is £12.50 per year from www.ukpsf.com which includes liability cover and well, everything a good insurance plan needs:rolleyes:.

hope this has been helpful

im sure if anything is wrong another forumer will chip in and correct my wrongs;)

Air tanks are effectively a well controlled bomb, with the amount of pressure contained inside it.

Do NOT trust ebay with that kind of stuff, there was a thread a while back about a guy who bought a tank off ebay and only missed injury because someone had the common sense to check it. Turns out the guy he'd bought it off had put it together using electrical tape.

Short story: I'd only buy air tanks from known and respected retailers, but for starting out any 3kpsi steely will do. It's heavy but it does the trick.

All walk-on days include air refills mate!

Unless your talking about using your marker outside of a paintball site, then i would recommend getting a dive bottle and a fill rig so you can fill it yourself.

And if you are planning on using it at home or on some suitable land make sure you have taken measures to prevent paintballs leaving the boundries of the land. ;)

Hi thanks for the info, anyone got any info on what the regulator is for and if I need anything special for it?
ON the bottle or gun?

Either way it regulates the pressure of the air passing through it, reg on the bottle will reduce it to between 300 and 800psi depending on HP or LP and the reg on the gun will reduce it to below 300psi to abide by paintball rules.

you shouldn't need anything except possibly an allan key to ajust the gun reg depending on where you play.

Whatever you do read your instructions carefuly.

(someone please correct me if Im wrong on the pressures)
