I have an RL timmy that has only one annoying problem to me.
the feedneck was glued in by its previous or pre-previous owner.
it still has the stock feedneck in it and I want to stop worrying about parts of it snapping etc.
so
Any ideas on removing the glued in one that will still allow me to put a new one in?

feed neck

You could also use a peice of flat rubber around it ,or even use a load of rubber bands to get a better grip, best to do this after you have poured boiling water over it.

I would go with the boiling water and grips, with plenty of tape round the neck to stop it scratching. The other thing worth trying is a strap wrench. Are you sure it's been glued or just loctite? Makes me suspicious the threads been stripped and glued back in as a bodge?

The necks are fitted with loctite at the factory, and a pig to get loose sometimes.
