I4's have little protection!

Actually, back in the day when faceplates were cut down/optional, loosing a tooth was not unheard of....From a paintball
I could see this coming to be honest,goggles seem to be getting smaller and tighter in the last couple of years,you have to decide if it's worth the trade off.
Example.................
In 17 years of paintball i hadn't took a shot to the jaw bone until i got a pair of E-vents then i got two shots to my jaw bone within 10 minutes of playing with them,its then i decided to go back to using JT goggles.
I'm either a soft pu$$y or somebody that thinks my safety and welfare is more important then saving a couple grams.

Not like suggesting you oil up reballs so they can collect all the dust and clog up your Rotor

Nice to see this mate as i can't give this kind of reply as i'm not even a year in.Started off with events which i like but don't cover below my chin (which i still use). Grillz the same. Looking at trying JT's as they look like a bit more coverage. Tried a pair of I4's way too small

I happen to resemble that comment.....
i tried i4 and they didnt cover my face right and you can nearly see my lips at bottom .and yes they do remove teeth i still have 2 teeth that are loose from paintball hitting my bottom lip . my events are better but still dont give complete cover but i like them and there light.My flex 8 are cover the most on me but lets face it no one face is same shape or size what works for one dont always work for others .
my grills do me well as far as fit go.
however i took a "freak" shot from behind (oo-er!!) at bawtry last sunday when someone from our own side very kindly plonked a ball in my right ear through the gap between my head and the goggles......
