Nexux Ego 06 OOPS/ASA Problems...

Hi guys,

Bought a nexus ego 06 on here back in early december '08 and since i received it, it has't worked. There's been a problem, i believe with the pin in the ASA. I've taken pics of the ASA itself, and was wondering if anyone could tell me what the actual problem is.

I recently bought an 09 OOPS from planet directly after being told it should fit, but found that the rail would not fit onto my marker, and neither would the ASA itself. Is there any reason behind this?

The pin itself doesn't sit in the ASA, it will just fall straight through, however if you manage to get it in, and attach the bottle, the air will just purge out of the hole furthest from the bottle end (see img 619).

Just to add, we did try several bottles to make sure it wasn't the bottle oring

on the earlier models there is a sealing o-ring within the body that grips the on off pin. Sounds like this is missing.

Unless the newer oops are different (not looked at one)

The 09 oops has a T shaped head, so will not fit older style A shaped gripframes. (Think it came in on the 08's, but could be wrong)

Yeah, unfortunately poor LJ here found that out the hard way. So does anyone know what size oring goes in the ASA(or is it on the pin?)?
