hm... i was sending it to virtue to get some of the LED colors fixed,
but its looking like £8 each way, almost half of what i payed for it...

Last time I dealt with Mike at Virtue, he wanted $50 to ship it back via UPS or something...utter rip off. I got it fixed locally (soldering job)
What is wrong with the board exactly?
My one was brand new...still he wanted $50. Was Shocker board and the ribbon plug snapped off.
They don't have to cover postage costs, just repair or replace it.
Might be different now, but I remember telling him to poke it.
did you buy it from this country, if not he is right, but if brought from new from a shop in the uk he would have to cover all costs, no matter where it needs sending.

I think you are right about the UK, though this one sounds secondhand as it looks like he only paid £20 or so for it.
