First-off, it's technically not a rifle but I hope you'll forgive me for that.
As I move into 2009 I'm replacing the majority of my kit. And that includes my prized custom marker. I have only used this at 3 walkons and 1 scenario game as such it is in very good condition.
So what you get:
Smart Parts Ion (US Version)
Deadlywind Tactical DT13 Body
BT M4 Car Stock
Smart Parts Ion 20" Tactical Barrel
Clamping Feedneck.
You will also recieve: stock body kit, another clamping feedneck, stock feedneck, stock barrel and all required tools.
The marker itself is a Smart Parts Ion - US Version, an already capable marker. Lightweight, compact and capable of 17 balls per second. Also as it is the US version it has in addition to Semi-Auto and Ramping modes; 3-Shot Burst and Full Auto.
Building on this core is the Deadlywind Tactical DT13 Body with BOB. This turns what was a tourny marker into a perfect scenario/milsim marker. The deadlywind body not only makes the marker bolt out back (a very handy system making stripping the marker down a lot easier, but very useful. It gives the marker 4 picatinny rails, suitable for mounting any hardware you want be it a bipod or sight. It also has one dovetail rail as well should you wish to add a scope.
I have always run this marker on a remote line and as such I have fitted the BT M4 Car Stock. Allowing you to effectively shoulder the marker in 6 adjustable positions. This can be easily removed when required for when a remote line is not appropriate.
To add to that sniper feel I have added a Smart Parts 20" Tactical Barrel. I have never faulted this barrel and it has never let me down.
One of the main complaints for the Ion was that the feedneck was not good. Therefore I have replaced it with a clamping feedneck to make sure that you don't loose that hopper.
Some of the parts are not available in the UK and as such I have had to import them at extra cost.

This marker would be perfect for someone considering a SP8 but wanting something more compact.
