No probs Xmini, the reason I mention it wasn't to be viewed as a criticism, you are obviously a kid with lots of ideas, which is obviously what this 'sport' wants.
What you don't want when posting, is for people to ignore your ideas just because of the way they are presented.
New initiatives are all about fresh ideas and good presentation, it will do you well to take this on board mate for when you post on any forum, not just ours.

Don't be put off too much by the nay-sayers. The town I used to live in has a 10-day fair every year, and one of the things there for the last few years, has been a paintball shooting gallery.
It works the exact same way as a regular shooting gallery, there are no goggles, no netting, nothing. After all, how often do people get shot outside a normal shooting gallery? That's right, never.
The people running it are smart though. The target you have to shoot is a pyramid of small "cans". But they are actually made of solid metal, so they weigh a lot and it takes more than a paintball to knock them over.
As far as the drunk punters go, they get those too. The last day of the fair is traditionally a citywide party where everybody gets insanely drunk. This starts so early that they have to close the pubs between 1 pm and 4 pm, for fear of people drinking themselves to death. There are usually numerous fights, the occasional stabbing and what have you.
Yet nobody's been shot with a paintball or a pellet from a BB gun, despite having them on the fair...
My advice: Think your idea through and see what it takes to get it done. If you can't do it, you'll have already done more than most.

Man, that sounds awesome! When is this fair? I have to get my fat ass on a plane for that one!!
At our freshers fair (an indoor fair for students new to the university) at Nottingham Trent uni last year there was a paintball range done with reballs and targets, seemed very professional and safe, there was a large netted cage , you were given a mask before you stepped in, once inside there was like a counter you stood at and shot at the targets.
For safety you could attach the marker to the counter.
Small shooting ranges using air rifles, cork guns etc have been around for a long time at fairs, thought out properly and done professionally, with insurance, it could be successful and safe.
Get adult help though, this is not something you will want to do on your own. For advice maybe ask the person who was at my uni, I think he's on these boards, one of the members of PBA dogs

cheers buddha, i was thinknig more no prizes,but the chance to win free tickets to my loacal site, the profit of this could make me a small fortune .Everyone must love the loud noises the fact that the paint explodes and effects the thing what they shoot .if i could somehow mount the markers to the range then there will be no way of any people turing around and shooting the spectaters behind them it will also be a great way of promoting paintball.
Also are there any recomendations for the range itself. I.E the strong end of the range where most of the paintballs will hit ,cheap recomendations will be greatly apprictiated thanks in adavance,luke

for the rear end of your range (behind the bit that the punters shoot at) you'll be wanting some strong unrippable material like canvas, for the rest paintballing netting should suffice. otherwise try and raise some funds and buy yourself a snap box and use that.
yes that would be a good idea i might just put a wooden board at the end of it ,but i want the sides to be see-through so people can see what is happening.
Another thing to think about is the mess at the end of your range mate,when we built the chro range at the Phoenix indoor after a couple hours we had two to three inches of smelly slop to shovel up
