Ouch ! ..... And as for me having any for you Chris?
Sorry mate, all January / February's allocation have been pretty much earmarked with my female fan base already prepp'd for action but if you can wait till March's job lot gets delivered, I'm pretty sure I will have some for you mate (cancellations sometimes occur due to unforeseen death of fan) - anyways, 2 or 3 for 2009????
Let me know mate, I'll get them shipped over to you, postage on me...think nothing of it :)

Big brass one with a hax in the middle.. been a while since Ive timed cockers with hammers, you dont need it to be shooting perfectly just want it to cycle at this point so do it 3 turns it shouldnt be hard to turn it in, and let me know what happens ^

guys sorry for this but what the heck are you messing with the IVG for?

all the IVG does is add tension to the hammer spring it doesn't have any bearing on the cocking cycle as far as I remember, that's all governed by the solenoid and the lpr and are totally seperate.

If it was simply a timing thing I can understand messing with the hammer lug etc but if this cocker isn't even cycling I think the IVG is a serious red herring here.

The IVG is flush with the body which unless hes got a really heavy spring it isnt going to open the valve to get enough of a bang to shoot a pball. I know his problem is LPR noid ram related but the IVG is another on the list and needs to bee sorted too, theres no point in not sorting it even if the current problem is the noid because then hes just gonna make another post 'why doesnt my marker shoot above 230' but yeah what i said earlier will tell you if its the noid lpr or ram ^

heheheheheheh Pete your quality dude:) heheheheheh Thanks man Pencil me in for the march delivery in the event of any groupie fatalities .

Cube, thanks for the input. As Hawkins just said the Autococker in question needs more than the cocking cycle sorting and Hawkins is familiar with the marker in question and its offending failures.Think of it as holistic medicine for a second hand doozy of a cocker.

Always a gamble buying from pics, this time it didnt pay off for me by the looks of it,never mind,it shall be remedied.

Thanks all for your posts once again.
Chris

Check you the sear solenoid & cocking solenoid are plugged into correct sockets in the board. The plugs are the same size and easy to get in the wrong way round. With a good battery and the eyes off, you should be able to hear both solenoids working (clicking) when you operate the trigger.

Are you sure enough air's actually getting through to the gun? Take the hose off the ASA to check air comes out as you screw in the tank or on/off. I've seen naff ASA's cut off the flow to the gun - especially if pin depressor is too large.

Um Ok, sort of, but I don't recall firing the thing being mentioned, I'm not sure it's got that far yet and these things should be fixed one stage at a time.

Anyway been having a think back to my old days of tinkering and have a few questions for BigKris

Firstly is the marker cycling? by that I mean is the ram moving the backblock back and forth under air. (If it isn't then you should check the wiring connections as the others have suggested especially as I believe you're using this "cheap" board)

Next; if it is, is the cocking rod being pulled back by the backblock?

Next; if it is, does it spring back immediately the cycle is complete without you having to pull the trigger again?

Reason I ask is I'm somewhat confused by what you mean by won't autocock. Do you mean that the marker won't cycle, or do you mean that the hammer isn't cocking on the sear. They're two different problems to sort out in the same way that the autococker is really two systems bolted together. Bit more of a description of the problem might help in the diagnosis. So far it's a bit like a "me gunz broke!" type of thing ;)

To give this clarity.
To answer your question. The pneumatics are not cycling at all currently to recock the hammer.

If i manually pull back the cocking rod by pulling back the back block, the hammer sear pin is catching the sear and if i drop the hammer by depressing the trigger the marker will go bang. But the fun ends there.

The board is an Eclipse E1.The black and red wires are in the "top" terminal on the board and the plain black one is on the "bottom" terminal

HPA in bottle is 2000psi.Air is getting thru the ASA and thru the foregrip reg.

I'm gonna go away and check the 3 way solenoid,my 9v battery has just died..oh joy and double grrrrr.lol.'kin 'ell.

Then i'm going to twiddle the various adjustable bits as advised and if that doesnt work its going to Dr Hawkins for a check up. I have a sneaky suspicion the noid might be screwed(groan).

Thanks for the post Gee,cant check the noid now as my battery has died, that E1 is a power black hole man! Always the way.But the wires are in their correct terminals.

I've checked the gas flow as you've advised and it appears ample.
