Oryt, Going to be buying a Proto SLG of here soon. Just a few question's about the bit's and bob's for it :p

Well basicly the parts i need will it fit or what parts would you recommed?

Dye On/Off Airport

Virtue SLG Featherlite Microswitch

Virtue Laser Eyes

SLG Virtue Board

------------------

Wanting to get a UL frame for it aswell... I know this may seem a bity stupid for putting money in to a SLG but its just a project and im not exactly selling it on :) I already have a Ego but i guess this could be a backup lol

But anything else to change?

Thank's

Lee

Dye On/Off Airport - really good on/off asa had one on my first SLG and it was awesome.

Virtue SLG Featherlite Microswitch - if you want a light triger pull (like a optical) but not necessary

Virtue Laser Eyes - again great upgrade but not necessary as stock yes work fine

SLG Virtue Board - good upgrade, not sure if it is worth the extra £90 for it though

also, if it is the original SLG, then you will not be able to fit an UL frame to it as the frame is milled differently, and the UL frame will not fit.

The Virtue switch is not Optical and won't give the same feel, it's just a lighter actuation than the stock one. TBH electronics component suppliers can supply you a similar switch for a fraction on the price, you'll have to do some soldering though.

As for the other bits, I'd bee inclined to go for a CP on/off as they are simple, solidly made items, don't forget you'll need the macro line elbow too.

Rather than the UL frame a decent trigger, there is a UL one for the std. frame, or Trinity and CP make replacement triggers too. If you want a board with the 08 Millennium code on it drop me a PM as I'm sure I have a spare stock one around here somewhere.
