right just got a new halo off here, and want to lower it down, last one i got of here alreadys had it done so have no idear how you do it,

any one shed some light

if you know a plumber or gas engineer copper pipe cutters are perfect for the job.Use them on the hard shell and then a decent hacksaw on the blue raceway.

I cut both the outer shells and the feed tube with pipe cutters, but I put a piece of wooden dowel wrapped in insulation tape to make it a snug fit inside the blue feed tube to stop it flexing while cutting.

Nope, it was absolutely spot on fantastico. Just took a bit of care and a bench vise.

Mini hacksaw would be your best bet with some fine sand paper, any craft shop would stock them. It'll take longer but work just as well.
