Hi everyone

Just a post to introduse myself, my name is James im 19 from Essex.
I have been floating around on the forum now for about a week pestering some people with my noobieness (sorry if your one of the lucky few ) and trying to find a marker and setup to buy.
i am new to both the game and this forum so if anyone could help with advice for a good starting setups then i will be very greatfull

Being from essex there are a few great places to play once u have your own gear.

you have Tower Paintball in london jus 5 mins from London bridge station and is indoors also! so no coldness ! They have walkons like a good few times a month ! And the ppl down ther are great !

Also a bit nearer and only a drive away, mayhem in abridge or near ther lol they have a walkon every 3rd sunday usually and im heading down ther this sunday ! wohoo

and i have about £200-£300 to spend say but shouldnt be too much for my first setup right?

and yeah thanks for that, my bro recently joined too (rgvrip) he went to the walk on at tower yesterday said it was rele good

i herd about the one at mayhem and was thinking i might shoot down and have a watch seeing as it only about a 20 min drive if that, there is also a shop there i could have a noes around right??

LIPs are excellent to deal with, can't recommend them enough frankly and is well worth a visit to Sleepy Hollow [Welwyn garden city] to see them.

the marker i have first dosent have to be a brand new one.......any recomendations for a second hand setup ii could possible buy on these forums??

also what is the difference between a fiber wraped bottle and the others??

I would try a few guns before you buy.Get down to a walk-on or tourney.Most players will be happy to show you their set up.As for the bottle.The fibre wrapped ones are lighter weight than the steel ones you find at most rental sites.

botles come in different sizes 0.7, 0.8, 1.1, 1.5 litre capacity.
steel air bottles fill to 3000psi

fibre wrapped bottles fill to 4500psi

you will get about 300 to 400 more shots from 4500psi depending on the marker and bottle size.

erm,not if the reg is only rated to 3k they wont! I was going to sell a fibre wrap bottle to Lovetone at the masters back in 06.When we checked it was only a 3k reg so I would be carefull not to give the impression that all fibre wraped bottles will fill to 4.5K.Although I see the point you are making.Just being carefull as we are posting in the newby section here mate.
