Ego Barrel

Well basicly being me having to play with my Ego 08 gat and the barrel on it has basicly locked it self together.

I mean i only put the barrel together played with the gun and then took the barrel of the gun and well i cant get the 2 peice to go in half lol

Can any one help me out on a soultion for this? i mean i have tryed dam hard to try undo it aswell as useing vice grips but won't work? i havnt cross threaded it.

silly question, but you are undoing it the correct way

the Ego barrels are left hand (reverse) thread in the middle

well i guess you could use a strap wrench that's what i used to get a feedneck off my old ion or i might just be talking nonsense

Yeah im doing it the right way left to right (reverse) and hmm not sure any other ideas?

Boil some water, dip the back of the barrel 2/3 into the boiling water, grab a pck of ice or something you can wrap around the front of the barrel for a minute or so.

use some rubber gloves, the latex thin ones are great for grip, and twist.

If you do manage to undo it, clean threading on both parts, and put a drop of oil around the threading. Never need to put a lot of force into it when screwing together.

Rap something warm (hand warmer etc around close to end of the part which attaches to the gun (back section), then ramp ya gun to as fast as possible with the eyes off and shoot a full tank, the end will freeze and with heat on the back section will stop it freezing, the front will shrink and the back will stay normal....

Never tried it with a 2 piece barrel but it works with a single piece thats stuck on a gat

try screwing the barrel back onto the gun then continue screwng it that way but only using the barrel front it works if the parts aren't too tight
