Then Im in agreement with fatbobs, so far the most likely suspect is the solenoid. Fatbobs will be able to get one in and fit it for you, or if not, let me know and I'll try sort something out.

Edit: Im assuming the battery is fresh?

the problem is i have just paid 160 for the gun of this forum and i cannot get hold of philby and if i put another 100 quid in another solenoid i may aswell bought a brand new one for 275...
