Proto KotH 2009 - Round One

The Proto KotH starts again at UCZ Paintball Park in South Devon on Sunday, the 8th March. This will be Round One of Seven running from March to November during 2009.

We will be running one KotH Division: For both Rookie and Novice KotH teams.

The format for the day is:

- Five man teams.
- Double-Flag format.
- 8 minute time limit.
- £175 entrance fee per team.
- £240 entrance to include 3 cases of RecSport.
- £290 entrance to include 4 cases of Blaze.
- Proto Markers and Kit Can be Supplied Upon Request
- Sup'Air playing fields.
- Limited paint format - 1 x 200-Shot Hopper and 2 x 140 Pots per player.
- Standardised, minimum-fuss rules.
- No-ramping policy. Semi-automatic only! No bps cap - NO bouncy triggers or adding shots!!!
- 280fps velocity limit.

Trophies will be awarded to 4th place in each division and prizes are available...

- 1st Place KotH Division: Half-Price Entry and Paint to KotH Round Two.
- 1st Place Open Division: Half-Price Entry to NSPL Round One.

We will be supplying our usual level of excellent facilities at UCZ including free parking, male and female toilets, undercover staging, two sup'air fields, catering, heated paint unit, and on-site store.

To book your team in to this event, call 01626 833 200. A £50 deposit must be paid to reserve your place. Loan kit can only be secured after your deposit has been paid. Your deposit comes off the entry package you choose.

Here you go guys - following the announcement on the NSPLs dates for 2009, we can now release the dates for all seven of this year's up-and-coming Proto KotH events...

Round One - 8th February - UCZ (Combined with NSPL Round One)
Round Two - 4th April - Reading
Round Three - 17th May - UCZ
Round Four - 20th June - Reading
Round Five - 25th July - Reading
Round Six - 5th September - Reading
Round Seven - 15th November - UCZ

All seven events are scoring events for the 2009 rankings.

Further details about the 2009 season will be released when the http://www.kothpaintball.co.uk web site is updated.

IMPORTANT: Date Change !!!

Right, we are making the call early so everyone has plenty of notice and can rearrange their plans with minimum fuss.

The first round of the Proto KotH is now going to be combined with the first round of the NSPL and will run at UCZ (Devon) on Sunday, 8th March.

Take up for the first round was slow and it makes more sense for everyone to combine the two events, ensuring a great atmosphere and the best possible event for everyone's money.

There will be one KotH division at this event for Rookie and Novice teams.
