You're best off just trying again monday and I'm sure they'll book a place for your friend. I'm sure they still have several places left to book, in fact I'm not even sure how many have booked, all I know is that there looking to be getting around 60 people there. But I'm probably wrong on that one! :D

"stock" blatantly means uncustomised, bog standard. As is comes out the box from the factory type of thing.

Most stock pumps,Phantoms, bushmasters, the later Proline sterlings and the like all had "slamfire" (god havent used that word in years) which means you hold down the trigger and pump like rebecca loos on a pig farm and you get to fire as fast as you can rack that bolt backwards and forwards.Kind of like
organic ramping,(but not like rebecca loos on a pig farm ewwwwww).

I might have to dust of mr phantom and get down there for this.

Ok chaps, let's try and clear this up .. once and for all =D

We will be using and providing Ex-Site pump markers that run on 48cu Air tanks.

Anything we deem to be significantly better than these will not be allowed to be used and we will provide you with one of ours.

Please remember this day is for fun and a bit of nostalgia ;)

Ruling out slamfire will probably dissuade quite a lot of pumpers from coming. You knock out probably 70% of the own marker pumpers in the UK as they use nelsons (which by design, are slam fire as stock).

Count me out then - whole reason for coming was to give my WGP or 90's TASO pump an outing. We used those pumps at the site once before and they were dire. Some had such low velocity you'd have been better off chucking paint by hand. Pity as I was really looking forward to this too :(

My WGP pump hasn't even got slam fire for fecks sake

What a Shame!

I was interested….but I was hoping this was just going to be a pump only walk-on, which would have been great. I can see that you are keen to keep things fair and even but…. restricting everyone to a punter setup of 15 years back is a big turn off.:( IMO Any pump vs. pump is fair and even!

Hope you have a good day, or better still you change your mind....and give some antiques the chance to shine again (markers and players):D
