If they are up to no good, why do Just Paintball provide a link on their website? Some members will get confused here. I doubt Just paintball would have a weblink to a dodgy company.
I shouldn't read too much into this newboy, and your concern for members getting confused is probably not gonna happen too much because people will read this thread and steer well clear of it anyway.

The fact JP have this guy on their webiste isn't in any way condoning this event and I'm pretty sure if and when the people at JP see what's going on, they will act accordingly I am sure.

The main point in all this is, the problem has been flagged up and people are now well aware ...... for some reason Paintball reminds me of Dodge City, except we got more cowboys

Eonze are listed as a recball provider/site on our Site Guide but that's as far as we go with them. We'll advertise any site for free to promote paintball to people who might not know where their local site is. As far as I'm aware they're a 'real' business but I don't know much about them I'm afraid. I wasn't aware they ran tournaments though. Will try and investigate more for you and let you know.

I thought that conspiracy to defraud was a crime Shell, in this case, there is no victim of yet but if the police can determine there is intent to defraud, then they don't need a victim to act ..... ???????
The victim would be the person who reports this as a criminal incident, they do not have to be the victim themselves.

The new fraud act does outline 'intent', but I believe with the information on that site at the moment it shows mearly misrepresentation, or a 'bad' way to market. A defence in this case could easily be - "I miss typed". However if the reporting person deems this to be a fraudulant act, it will need to be investigated until an officer can see that no offences have been committed.
I hope that makes sense to people?

REMEMBER:
WE RUN A PROFESSIONAL WELL ORGANISED DAYS PAINTBALLING, IT'S NOT AN ARMY BOOTCAMP, IT'S SUITABLE FOR BOYS & GIRLS OF ALL AGES.
And there was I under the misapprehension that there was a minimum age requirement for players!

On a Team or Fancy starting one, we can help with our Team Training Package, we can help with techniques and guidance by one of the top UK paintball scouts.
Ah, pro clinics too!

Of course, this could be a perfectly legitimate Rental business, albeit, one that is maybe 'over icing the cake' with the marketing ideas. However, the P8nt witch hunt has put paid to what could have been one of the easiest to enter tournament series with the highest prize money to entry fee ratio ever, and with 1000 paintballs included for each game too!

Its not Pro Clinics Pete.
Its a TOP Paintball Scout!!! (cause there are so many)

As for the rest of your post, we dont play for any of those reasons and the prize money, free paintballs mean nothing. After all....

We only play so you have something to do on a Sunday with your camera:D

Actually Shell ....The person who reports this would be the 'informant' and not necessarily the victim, I would have thought the victim would be the person/persons who were being targetted for the fraud.

Also, I was answering your point that stated you needed a victim before 'the police will touch it' and I think you'll find the new legislation will in fact, cover it, as long as there is intent, and in this sense, there does not have to be a victim, merely an intent to defraud one.

Now, whether it's provable or not in this case is academic because it's the principle I was referring to mate.

By the way Shell, if you witnessed me doing something illegal (not that I would ) would you arrest me?
