According to www.pbreserve.com they will be giving euroland a shot. I can definitely see more us teams wanting to come across now that the NPPL is gone. This can only be a good thing for us euros!
I've got mixed feelings about this. It would be good if MS CPL was open. But now (I assume Arsenal and Rage to play CPL) it means two euro pro teams replaced by mediocore US pro teams. Not good. Also, I predict lots of CPL (and some SPL) teams to have 1-3 americans in their rosters. Also bad, very bad for euro ball. We need to create our own heroes, not import them. I have nothing against americans playing in MS. But we should make additional room for them, not replace our own players with them.

Sherman, I think they should go one step further and open up the leagues altogether ... you have to ask yourself why they don't when the benefits are so obvious to all and sundry.

that is just clearly not true. Philly dogs which are better than the mentioned teams IMO did not "poop" all over euro teams. The level of paintball in the CPL is very high
Ok so joy excluded (I'll concede that) look at some of those rosters. My personal fav is "Moscow" phoenix.

Now dont get me wrong, I'm not trying to put down the euro teams when i say the standard is lower here. The fact that euroball has come as far as it has despite our recent isolation from the yanks is a testament to all those euro pros who have grinded as hard as they have, with determination and passion.

But it's also no coincidence that the highest ranked teams happen to be those with yanks on board and while Joy have no roster'd Americans they have until fairly recently been making that trip over the pond and playing in the states.

America got where they are on their own and we can too, but unless we embrace their participation we'll always be playing "catch up"

im pretty sure if you hang a right in boston and keep straight you'll come across moscow down old trail next to the closed down bar.

imo this is a great thing for the mills, its going to provide some good competition for the CPL teams, next step would be to open the divs! never thought i'd say this but i would welcome the americans.
