Make sure you take any allen keys you have in your pockets out before you do put it in the machine though, they have a nasty habit of getting stuck in the pump

why would you put a pump into the washer , would'nt it be easier and safer just to strip down and clean

A 'pump' is a marker that requires re-cocking by the use of a slide handle, or 'pumping' rather than a self re-cocking semi or an electronic marker.

Washing machines have pumps to extract the water from within them at the end of the cycle, most washing machine problems are pump related, often due to them being fouled or obstructed by debris such as coins, paper clips, keys, hairgrips, underwires etc. or allen keys left in pockets!

Well if its really dirty i hang it up outisde and get the jetwash on it then chuck it the washing machine if its not extremley dirty then i jump in the shower with my gear on to get the little bits off and then if i can be bothered ill put it in the washing machine along with some Daz to keep my whites white haha lol.

And i dont think farquhar did get rinsed i just think pete was being helpful and explaining what a "Pump" marker is to a less experienced player, i also think that comment was uncalled for, just remember we were all new once (assuming farquhar is new).

Ok in that case i apologise i just dont like people insulting "newbs" as it does nothing for the sport, we all want to make it better and better known so when people have a go at new players it just puts a bad light over the game

Nah i know what a pump marker is i jsut thought we were talking about washing machines a the time ( it was new yuear and i'd had a few...)
